Fox Trot
Just a few day ago I received the best little package in the mail, delivering familiar foxy faces. Mary Ping of Slow and Steady Wins the Race hired me to draft a pattern for a faux fox stole last year, and here are the final results- one fox in black velvet and the other in muslin, like the original muslin I showed here. Currently the salt and pepper twins are living on a wall in my temporary home, Emily Cox and Paul Isabella's Park Slope apartment.

Hello Hayliebird,
Just wanted to say that I'm a very proud owner of a Slow and Steady Wins The Race Faux Fox Stole made from the pattern that you drafted!
I was pleasantly surprised to find your older post of your prototype on a Google search for photos of a real fur stole. It's always really nice to be able to put a face or a name to the people who contributed to making the things that I love.
I've named my fox Emmett Foveaux Sanford - an old-school name for an old-school thing? Tee hee hee. x
PS. The next time you see Mary, could you please let her know that I'm a big fan of what she does at Slow and Steady Wins The Race? Thank you.
